Coconut Pecan Frosting

2 eggs or 3 egg yolks
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup pecans or walnuts (chopped)
1 cup evaporated milk

Combine milk, eggs and vanilla. Cook over low heat until thickened...about 12 minutes. Add coconut and pecans and beat until thick. Frost cake on top only
